In 1980, Pallas and Sonny Wang came to Michigan to start their first restaurant business in Canton. It was a small establishment with 12 tables. Sonny worked in the kitchen with a chef and Pallas worked the front along with her mother and sisters. In the years that followed, Sze-Chuan Restaurant earned a loyal following and a reputation as a great Chinese restaurant. Sze-Chuan expanded to seat 150 in 1986 and now serves third generation Sze-Chuan lovers.
Sze-Chuan provides casual dining and high-quality ingredients at a reasonable price, and will continue to be the forefront of the chinese food industry.
