Motherhood is an incredible rite of passage for women. It comes with a multitude of mixed feelings and emotions, from euphoria and warm, unconditional motherly love, to uncertainty and almost torturous tiredness. This is all normal!! Let’s face it, motherhood is wonderful, but it’s a tough gig, and none of us really know what we are doing!!! I strongly believe that we as mothers, need to take care of ourselves first, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If we want balance in our lives, and are practicing healthy living through regular exercise and healthy eating, we are better able to meet the ever-changing demands of motherhood, lead our families and be a positive role model for our children. We may slip, an even fall (I certainly do!!) but if we have these healthy practices to return to, we can embrace motherhood with positive energy. That is why I have designed these 12 week online exercise and nutrition programs for pregnancy and motherhood. You don’t have to do this alone!!
